Tai chi

The soft blending of spirit, mind and body in this subtle art is so useful and beautiful.  Its slow pace and relaxed feel may not be suited for every temperament, but it does have something to offer the average over-stressed person.   The possibility for conscientious self-mastery in this powerful martial art is a passionate lifelong pursuit for me.  I have taken a few classes from Sifu Knaack at Northwest Tai Chi of Spokane, and two classes at EWU with one of his students.  My knowledge of this art is limited to some very simple Yang and Qi Gong forms.  It would be wonderful to learn this art from a master in China and practice with the elderly in a serene park.
